It can void the warranty when the advertised speeds of your ram is higher than the cpus max speed. (Xmp doesn't look at the cpus limit)

Dont do this if your absolutley certain your pc can handle it. If your pc's limit is below the rams limit ypu at best, have crashes and blue screens every so often, and at worst it xan nrick your pc
