I have a question that might not get any response. But here it goes, I had this g.skill ddr5 kit at 6800MHz XMP profile and it was working fine. But after a failed attempt at a CPU overclock which was unstable and caused a restart on a stress test. I can’t run them any faster than 5600MHz and the XMP always results in a memory overclock failure. While it used to work before. The Bios is already in the latest version btw.

If you have AMD CPU and it won’t boot pull you cmos battery and wait like 15 minutes, then on your next try look up the start voltage for your ram and change it manually after enabling DOCP. Hope it helps

Great advice right here but misses a center point which is : GUYS WHEN YOU FIRST ENABLE IT ON AN AMD SYSTEM IT MOST LIKELY WON'T POST ! Like I know most people enabled it and it is all fine but for some of us AMD users it depends on the quality of the silicon that is used in your processor the better the more frequency and lower timings you are able to run .

just make sure to run the memory at what the ryzen cpu can do otherwise you'll run into problems

When I try to enable my X.M.P it only says disabled and won’t let me enable help pls?

So I don't have my DOCP profile turned on but am pretty sure I did it more complicated way by activating precision boost overdrive and also manually upping the ram speed from the default to 5600, as long as performance is reading that correctly will I be okay; or do I need to specifically activate that on top of this too. Cheers and much love from a first time PC owner.
