Switching iPhones? Don't delete photos on the old iPhone yet

When you want to move from one iPhone to another you need to know a few things about how photos works and what you should and should not do to avoid accidentally deleting your photos.

I need help recently I bought a new phone and the contacts are in sync when I delete contacts from my old phone they also delete from my new phone I don’t know how to stop it from doing that will you make a separate video on it ?

What if I don't want to transfer my old photos to my new phone but still keep them say on my MacBook Pro in my photo library? Once I transfer them onto my MacBook they're there and I can start clean with my new iPhone, right? I want to start fresh but I don't want to obviously lose my thousands of photos that are also currently backed up in iCloud.

I’m old school - I backup to iTunes at the end of every month.
When switching phones, I backup the old one and restore to the new one, using that.

Sir, i want to delete the pictures from my icloud but not from my old iphone.
I have a new iphone and i have 7000 pictures on my icloud. I dont want to take those pictures with me on the new iphone but sometimes i want memorys and then i take my old iphone to check the old pictures.
