How to Delete Photos & Videos to Free Up Storage Space on All iPhones, iPads, iPods

I show you how to delete photos and videos to free up storage space on all iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. Remember even though we deleted photos and videos from the photo album it will still take up storage space because its now in the recently deleted album which is basically a recycle bin or trash bin. So we need to also delete them from there as well.

This really helped me, my phone was at 127.7 GB out of 128 GB and by doing this it was lowered to 20GB in use!!! Amazing I definitely recommend doing this especially if your photos are taking up most of the space.

Thanks, I knew how to delete the photos but I wasn’t sure why it still said the photos are taking up space even though I deleted them. Now I know to go to recently deleted and delete again there. Again, thank you!

Just bought a Mac and transferred 6k+ photos to it from my PC. They also automatically went to my iphone. Yuck!! You were able to get them off for me quickly. Thank you.

My iPad won’t let me delete photos anymore-I delete the photos, but when I go back into my photos app, they are all back. This is a huge problem because I no longer have the ability to take any photos, because my storage is full. I’ve already deleted all the apps I don’t use, and photos are the thing that takes up my storage the most. Please help!!
