If you ask an engineer they'll tell you that they couldn't move it because of the diametric spheroid gears were in panspermetic boloid stators, that had to remain in perfect cross merek with the pre-lubricated turbo encabulators.

"Not my problem." -engineer.

You coat the sway bar with oil so it won’t rust 😂😂😂

At least we get to see a nice example of laminar flow.

Somewhere in the shop manual the fine print recommends removing the sway bar before an oil change. Or the warranty is void.

As an engineer, I hate this too. Blame the bean counters that force so many damned compromises.

It’s a crystler, that’s preventative maintenance lol

Don’t blame the engineer, he just remembered later that car needs a sway bar 😂

As a bus mechanic, I fully approve this message.

I’m almost shocked there is a drain. I didn’t know Chrysler products lasted longer enough to change the fluids.

This isn't a engineer issue, this is project manager issue. When the people designing the chassis don't ever communicate with the people who designed the engine, this happens.

They put the sway bar there just in case the oil pan bolt comes loose😂

Engineer: this vehicle has a waterfall, charge an extra $5K for it.

90% chance that this came down to 2 different teams that didn't communicate properly

Engineer here: I think this is caused by overworked engineers on separate teams designing things and not being able (or allowed) to see the whole assembly and how things work together. As a result, they just put things where they make sense. It's not the engineers who are at fault, it's the executives.

I have been a diesel technician for 21 years. You could not pay me to own an American made vehicle.

As an engineer the design is flawless and intentional. Do what you want with this information lmao 😂

Plug should have been straight down.
Chrysler : oh well🤪

Hey, Ford did the same damn thing except they thought that little tiny drain plug didn't make a big enough splash when it hit the sway bar so they went ahead and put a 1" plastic quick release drain plug.
Someone needs to seriously kick the engineers square in the sack for this kind shit.

The exhaust on my silverado tops that.
