Windows 7 Windows Update Not Working [FIX]

A update file named "Update for windows 7" cant be installed exept the other ones, there are 16 of them and it says error installing them,
Also if i shutdown my pc it says installing updates and says 0 of 16. Pls help!

Ah - was going well - I got to the BITS part and then scroll down to 'Windows Update' - but not in the list on my computer. Any suggestions?

Dude I love you made my 10-year-old XPS gaming pc update again!! lol it is 2019 and there are 6 important updates downloading ;)


and the file deleting freed the space needed to update to the newest windows 7 64-bit <3 <3

after deleting the files in the distributuion folder exept for download everything get deleted it says The action can't be completed becus the folder or a file init is open in another program help plz

I just installed Windows 7 Pro. I went to the start, windows update, and it was in RED. I went ahead and check update and waiting for 10 minutes and nothing happened.
I followed your steps carefully, rebooted my laptop and checked again and the Windows Update was still RED.
I'm at a loss.
