The most Beautiful, and Thoroughly Thought Through Theology, beautifully explained.
Though You, to You, and by You alone did I come to know You! My free will and religious performance only caused me to rebel against Your Deep Love and finished Sovereignty.

Romans 9:14-16
“What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.”

Just proves I need more time with Jesus and the Bible.

Here are a few more Scriptural verses on God's Sovereign Particular Grace of Salvation of His people:
Ephesians 1:4
He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.

Ephesians 1:11-12
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will:
That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Romans 8:30
Whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.

Romans 9:16
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 15:16
You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit.

1 Peter 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth

I wish YouTube would show the number of thumb downs this video received. I bet it would be more than the thumbs up.

I usually agree in most matters discussed in this channel, but in this one, the Scripture shows clear that the Lord wants ALL (not some few selected) to come to Him, according to 2 Peter 3:9
' The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is PATIENT with you, NOT WANTING ANYONE to PERISH but EVERYONE to come to REPENTANCE.'
The real doctrine of Grace is how God sent His Son Jesus Christ, to die for us, we who did not deserve to be part of His Kingdom, we were counted in whenever we believe in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

I didn't know that this channel believed that God is the Author of Evil. No matter how a Calvinist attempts to "Apologize" for this basic fact, it will always be true. This can't be avoided in the false doctrine of Calvinism. If the false doctrine of Calvinism is true, then God is evil by His own standard.

Luckily, Calvinism is false. It can be proven in the very first events of the Genesis. God clearly selected Adam and Eve in the beginning, right? Yet the Devil stepped between God and Eve to bring death into the world. Clearly, this was total and complete free will on the part of Eve. She decided to break her relationship with God despite his clear election. I could give MANY more examples, but this one should be enough to anyone who is honest (Calvinists aren't honest).

Armenianism is also false. Both sides take these concepts too far. The truth is in the middle. God knew how this world would turn out. He knew every decision you would ever make. In that sense, He "Elected" you by choosing to create this world and not a different one. He could have chosen to create a slightly different world where He didn't "Elect" you. But He didn't. He selected this world. Where you would make the free choice to follow Him.

This world has the best mix of free will with the most people getting saved by choosing Him. He didn't want robots, He already had those in the form of the Angels. He wanted someone to choose Him because they love Him. Not because they are programmed to love Him. Calvinism reduces us back to the level of Angels. Just another robot that didn't really have much of a choice.

Calvin: "Only those who are Unconditionally Elect shall be saved."

Jesus: "Whosoever will BELIEVE shall be saved."

Calvin: "Who are you, oh man, to reply against God?! Are you greater than my father Augustine?"

Jesus: "Before Abraham was, (and before Augustine was), I Am."

Calvin: "Hmm... Well I'm right anyway."

Hold on, how is christs redemption for just a particular geoup of people when He died for the whole world and all we have to do is accept it? I don't think predestination is supposed to be viewed like that. I see it as an aspect of his sovereignty, that he knows who will choose him, because he is all-knowing not that it limits who his offer to salvation is or our choice to choose him.

Finally, a clear explanation. I agree with some, but not all, of this doctrine. To me, TOTAL DEPRAVITY makes sense. "There is none righteous, no, not one. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION, LIMITED ATONEMENT, and IRRISTABLE GRACE do not make sense to me. "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever should believe in Him should have everlasting life. "For, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS makes sense in terms of eternal security if we remove "the elect."

1. Jesus is God. Jesus is man. His divinity doesn't reduce his humanity. His humanity doesn't reduce his divinity.
2. Scripture is divinely inspired. Scripture is humanly authored. Divine inspiration doesn't reduce human authorship. Human authorship doesn't reduce divine inspiration.
3. God is sovereign and man is responsible. God's sovereignty doesn't reduce man's responsibility. Man's responsibility doesn't reduce God's sovereignty.
4. Are the above views Biblical? Are they true? Are they compatible with the doctrines of grace?

I can't tell if this is an explanation or an endorsement of that view or both. Please clarify.

No man can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him...John 6:44
you did not choose Christ, He chose you if you are indeed in Him

This explanation helps nail down for me why I can never be a Calvinist. Election/predestination makes preaching the gospel unnecessary because people will be saved anyway. Irresistible grace, God does not save anyone against their will but changes them so they will be receptive...that is Calvinist double talk, making God a manipulative, sneaky jerk.

The bible does say that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, thus God does give humans the choice to call on his name. Secondly, John 316 does that God so loved the world i.e. all humanity, that he gave his only begotten Son. He died for the sins of the world, not just for the elect, thus limited atonement is in error as a result.

Answer: The Doctrines of Grace summarize the Bible and the Born Again Christians life, from faith to finish and God's work in it.
It encompasses Reformed Theology, which many Theologians say encompasses Biblical Christianity!
