Lg fanboy here. I truly love my g5 and dont understand why so much people hate it. It has great specs, great screen, great camera and really good speakers also, the ui is just pleasing to look at and i got the charging craddle on deck so battery life is no problem. My only complaint is the build. It does not feel so good. Trust me, it has a good feel in the hand but it is not comparable to the s7. But overall, the device is great and i can recommend it to anyone.

Picking up where Samsung left off with the S5. The G5 has an IR blaster, removable battery, and expandable SD storage, plus modules. A phone should be functional like a Swiss Army Knife and this one seeks to be just that.

The phone may not win any style points, but most people will slap a phone cover over it anyhow so thats not a big deal.
This is a must buy for me personally.

I am currently using LG G4, started 3 years ago with LG G2, loved it, rock solid, only when I dropped it in water was ruined.
Moved to LG G4 about 3 months ago, superb smart phone.
I am not an iphone guy, and I hate samsung, which I tried too.
I also owned Sony for a while, its a shame.
LG is the best smart phone I ever owned. if you try it you will never change to other brands.
Thinking to upgrade to LG G5 soon.

I think they should bring this back now that the EU has passed a law that will require smartphones to have user replaceable batteries/parts.

The G5 DOES have a laser AF, it's written on the official webpage, and he can see it clearly besides the LED flash. I thought he just didn't mention it, but then I was surprised that he even tells the absence of it.

Happy with my G4. I really like where they are going though and happy they haven't abandoned their core ideals. exited to see what happens in the next few years.

People can say what they want but removable battery + SD card tray + great camera setup + IR blaster = win. Sure there are some shortcomings, but the phone is honestly innovative. Hopefully the v20 is even better.
