I have to say, knowing you tube is a short media form usually, i would love to hear more, i really enjoy the depth you got into starting with Velázquez around the 3 minute mark that was a lot of great information.

shadows is warm, (more often) brown in warm, black is cool, if you want to paint like tenebrist you need a lot of transparent or translucent browns-blacks

You're awesome man. Would you consider Mucha an impressionist (especifically his slav epic series not his graphical work.) It seems like he was a mix of the tonal academic work with the chromatic handling of color from the impressionist.
If only you had been my teacher in phenomena of color. My teacher was a die-hard modernist who ridiculed figuration. So it took me some semesters and other classes to understand what you just presented in under 5 minutes. :-)
