I spotted a Kenny Scharf in the background at 1:47. I first saw his work at the Miami Art Museum in 1995 (when it was by the downtown library). His pieces were massive in scale and I just loved them.

I get excited and depressed each year I attend Art Miami. I only find a few artists that I enjoy...that is, a handful or less. There seems to be some 95% or greater kitch out there.

I loved this video. I am the ''keeping it in the closet'' artist so far, but I am trying to get out of it. Having my art in a public space or selling it feels very intimidating to me but I am trying to overcome that. Did you faced these feelings when you were starting too?
I love the content of your videos, how educational they are and how they can make you think :)

Great video! I really enjoy your content, very strait forward. You don't overload your viewers with unstable opinions. May I ask the process you face making a decision on which painting(s) you choose to display at an art fair of this magnitude? It would seem to be a difficult decision.
