3 Emergence of NGS

This video describes the evolution of sequencing methods from first generation single base sequencing methods, to next generation sequencing methods, also called high throughput sequencing and lastly the more recent sequencing methods called single molecule sequencing or what some describe as third generation sequencing. The distinctions between generations are discussed.
