Dave,

I am a senior in high school and will be going into electronics engineering within the next two years. I really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot from you in the last few months. At this point I'm still an amateur and have a lot to learn, but anytime I have a desire to learn something new your videos are my first destination. Thank you for all of your videos and your excellent explanations.

If it gets raised in Mailbag, it gets talked about!

That's a common package for gum in the US. We love to overpackage our gum: nested boxes, foil-backed blister packs, more.

I guess Silicon Labs (just down the street) bought out Energy Micro? Interesting to see what new things will come out of that. As always, love the blog and keep up the great work!

Maybe have a kit building Friday to build all the kits you get in the mail.
or some other day of course.

I immediately recognised the middle castle as I was there when I was stationed in Bosnia following the war

Thumbs up for talking about Atheism. You put it as simply as it gets.

It looks like the gecko keychain should function as a bottle opener, between the rear right foot and the tail.

The stuff in the blister pack is gum - thats how it's packaged in the states.

The thing is, recently (decades), evidence for the volume of the universe and the number of galaxies, and the number of stars in most known galaxies means that probability says it is unlikely we are alone, especially if we included microbes in this count. It takes no faith to read the numbers, stagger back for a minute at the point you realize what the numbers mean, and then accept that it is likely life exists elsewhere in our universe as we know it.

26:46 The product code for that Atollic TrueStudio is clearly visible. Might want to hide product codes like that in the future ;)

The EM "Mints" would be gum. That's pretty standard packaging for gum... in Canada at least, and probably the US.

I don't know if you're aware but your keyring gecko is actually bottle opener :-)

Soccer might be one of the most popular sports in scandinavia, and many chewing gum brands come in those packages here.

Looks like Dave needs to get an intern specifically for soldering boards

C3, the 100nF capacitor will not be able to destabilize the opamps operation. And I think it is very, very important, to stabilize the output a bit, because you are working on such a low voltage. 100nF would only produce trouble, when amlifying AC.

Yeah that is pretty standard gum packaging here in the US, however it is likely it is mint flavored gum. Pretty much every company that gives out those promo goddies gives out gum packaged like that.

Several brands of gum are packaged like that in the US as well.
