The saying is "Everything's big *IN* Texas."
My brother and I were staying in a motel in Texas once, I heard a splash, and there was my brother splashing around in what I thought was the pool, until he screamed, "Don't flush it!", everything's big in Texas.

It's pronounced Foo-air-tae, it's Spanish for strong.
Great Video as always, Mailbag is becoming one of my favorite segments, it's like Christmas for you every week.

That word you tried to say at 8:00, RaumZeitLabor actually means Room-Time-Laboratories in English :D

I used to have one similar, the RIO CE2100 with a 2.5gb drive.

I loved that MP3, sadly it met it fate when the screen cracked, Ive still got the seagate drive kicking around though!

Dave, please post the CAD files for your uRGB board. If it works, I'd like to build some up! Canada gets really boring in the winter.

If my memory serves me right, the older iPods with actual hard disks in them had seagate micro drives in them.

Its a word in "spanish". Either means 'strong' or a 'fort'. Is more like 'Ff-wear-ta', no Y sound.

The Rio Carbon was around in 2004 and 2005 and was often purchased for 'Carbonising' - pulling out the Seagate 5 or 6GB Microdrive for use in digital cameras as it was worth far more by itself than the ~$249 retail of the MP3 player.

I still use a Rio for every day use, modded with an 8GB CF card and I love it - I keep buying more for when one dies!

8:29 "Right up there with mullets, I guess."
Whoa -- that was uncalled-for.

You can go to translate.google.com > select Spanish > type the word "fuerte" > press the speaker icon in the bottom right corner = an approximate audio pronunciation! :)

I wonder how much discount they get on parts by putting the chip manufacturers' names on the product? It's pretty common on devboards

I'm not hating Austria. It's a joke because of the similarities in the name and how people gte them confused sometimes.

The "Rio Carbon" had a 5gb segate microdrive in them. As I recall the drive was worth more in resale than the rio carbon was brand new but I decided keep mine intact.
