I went heavier on the spices, added a extra can of cream of chicken, cheese, bacon bits, and a little more broth and sour cream and it turned out delicious. Family loved it!

my x - now deceased mother/in/law use to make this allot.. loved it.. (only thing I loved about her) she would never share how she cooked anything (said she was the only one who could cook it the way her son liked it).. I am so glad I found this been looking for over a cpl of decades.. I used egg noodles instead of rice and added peas! The peas add a really good flavor. I also used extra crackers on top. It's a great alternative!

I've had it with chopped up celery before so that celery could be chopped into small chunks and added if someone wanted to. Peas go with it nicely, also. If you like mushrooms they're an added bonus, too.

I put stuffing on the top of mine! So good! Used coconut oil instead of butter for the stuffing. Used Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and made my own condensed cream of chicken! It was so good!

Thank you for your question, Rana. Cooking cream is a lot looser than sour cream. We would suggest using half the amount of cream and half cream cheese. Enjoy!

I use Pepperidge farms bread crumbs for the topping and instead of rice I use vegetables, omg it’s so good, my children are very picky eaters but this they love
