I’ve got the book and it’s the most useful cook book I’ve ever bought. The recipes are all easy and the results are superb. If I can make good grub using this book anybody can. Buy it!

I have made this tonight, I think I may need a bigger pot as it was overflowing! I transferred it to a casserole dish on the hob. Served ours with rice and broccoli. I have your book, and I love to look through for ideas for dinner for the 5 of us x

Hi Nicky, you have been supplying me with gorgeous recipes and inspiration for feeding my family for many years now. Your meals are in our usual rotation, I made your creamy pork and apple stew today and swedish meatballs are on the menu for tomorrow. I said to my hubby, that I would like your book for Christmas, because "Nicky has never steered us wrong hun" therefore, after seeing this corker of a recipe, I have will be the proud new owner of your book. I dont really like books, because I I prefer to see what the family fancy the day before and make it the next day. That looks lovely, I make something similar using chicken breasts, bacon lardons (I use smoked), garlic, chillies (fresh, lazy or flakes), spring onions and mascarpone cheese, I serve it with spaghetti, it's really rich and creamy, keep up the good work, I love your recipes xx

Yep, I’m going to cook this dish tomorrow for my daughter, can’t wait. I Love your book, it stands permanently on my kitchen side. Quality inside and out. Great idea to put a QR code in there too. I must have 50+ cookery books which haven’t been looked at for years what with YouTube bursting with cooking video so it says a lot that your book has pride of place in the kitchen and used weekly. Hats off to you both.

I made this for our dinner today and it was fabulous. It worked, and the seasonings were just right. I made ours with plant based milk and cream as I am lactose intolerant - and it still turned out delicious and the sauce thickened just right. Often sauces don’t work with plant based milk.
We had the sesame chicken in the week and that was so nice. Both recipes have worked and were lovely. I will definitely be buying the book.
It’s great that you use ‘normal’ ingredients that you already have or can find in the shops. I like that you deliver instruction in a calm way, with little helpful hints and reassurance along the way. Please keep on doing what you do 🤩🤩

It looks delicious. As it is still cold outside I do your slow cooker Chicken casserole every week with mash and spinach. There is always enough casserole left over for a midday lunch with crusty bread. One of my favourite recipes of yours.

This is a mighty dish. I cooked it using thigh meat for a bit more flavour, served it with potato croquettes and garden peas, and it went down really well. There was some leftovers which I placed in a mylar food bag and popped in the freezer. This was consumed Saturday night in my tent to the sound of heavy rain outside with some boil in the bag pasta twirls. You can't beat this kind of food on a cold and wet November night. THANKYOU!!
