You seem to suggest that the dumper has the conversation within themselves as to whether they should stay or leave. That is exactly the cause of many break ups in my opinion. It's the lack of communication, transparency and empathy toward the dumpee. The dumper for weeks or months has been playing this out in their head without one word being said to the dumpee before they end things abruptly. Surely there is some sort of disconnect or mental health issue involved there for many a dumper !

I guess dumpers may come back when they feel loneliness and get bored from their life routine, or life getting harder, they would come back because they have selfish reasons not because we love them, they dumped us while we are loving them

Hi Lee. For some reason, I personally don't think that the relationship would ever be the same again. Sure, it might get better or it could never be the way it used to be. Something is definitely missing. I think it's the time you spent apart, maybe you both changed and it's just not there anymore. Depending on how long you're apart really has a lot to do with it. Feelings fade, and you may also feel awkward. It's worth the chance, but the outcome depends on the both of you.
