I’m cool with it, but not for the price. 399.00 maybe with all the new features and design. No excuse to not have there Apple Pencil 2nd gen support. Also disappointed with the Pro models, though i love my M1 model so i cant be too mad they didn’t truly upgrade

Getting a lot (but not ALL) of the features of the "old" iPad Air 4. And yeah - it "distinguishes" itself from that iPad Air 4 by moving the camera to landscape mode to maybe justify(?) the price hike for the base model from $329 to $449. No wonder it was a "silent" release. Look forward to the full review on whether it supports Stage Manager since Apple announced SM won't be limited to Mx model iPads and how well it runs with an external monitor - you know, for the kids who Apple is likely targeting this with, for getting school work done.

In terms of actual usability, you're paying $100+ more just for a different design

Because most of these new features don't make a difference to the average user

450 dollars is crazy was considering buying this one to replace my iPad 7 but for 450 it isn't worth it. My current iPad still does everything that I need it to do

The base model iPad is not a base model anymore, I’m just glad that I own the 9thgen iPad

Just ordered mine in blue 256 GB, coming from a 6th gen, pretty excited. I don’t use it much, but the upgrade was a no brainer I guess.

it is ipad air 4 basically in $450.
1, same cpu, same size
2, worse display, no laminated no antireflective coating.
3, with 1st gen pencil
4, better front camera

We just replaced our aging iPads. I bought version 9, and my wife bought a yellow 10. IMHO, the ten is considerably better than the nine. Noticeably faster. The kickstand and keyboard make the iPad easier to use. I’m content with the nine, but wish I had bought a ten.
