I as a teen had a iPad mini 1. Was awesome for me. Now as a adult years later, the iPad 9 made so much more sense. When I got my 9 with a case and post tax for 350 brand new and the 10 was another 150+, it was a no brainer for me. I am a big stat guy and the 10 doesn’t seem that much better. Not for the extra cost too. I did a ton of research and the 9 just makes sense for 90% of users who aren’t using it for business. For leisure and school, the 9 is perfect

I was at the Apple Store recently. People are just buying it. They don’t care for the price. It’s the truth and Apple will continue to price their products as high as they want to until people stop buying them.

Microcenter has the 10th Gen on sale for $399 or $379 with a Microcenter credit card. I purchased a blue 10th for casual use and business meetings. The horizontal/landscaped placed front camera is excellent for Zoom, MS Teams, and Facetime.

My father just picked one up. It looks and feels really nice, but i'd rather go with a refurbished air instead.

I think this iPad is for watching videos, playing games or messaging. It is just not for pros editing photos on it, and I think it is still a good iPad.

I am an artist using an iPad 9, and it has absolutely lived up to my standards, and honestly great worth for the money

As an iPad that will be used without accessories (the typical situation for most tablet users), this thing is fine. Let’s not forget that this particular iPad has the best real world battery life of any iPad — by a significant margin.

I bought the 11” M1 iPad Pro last year. The 12.9” was bigger than I wanted, so it was a choice between the Air and the Pro. Speakers and ProMotion made that decision easy and I’m happy with it. I elected to go with the Magic Keyboard because I wasn’t sure how well Apple or third-party options with a kickstand would work when I hold the tablet in my lap. Do you have any comments about that?
New placement of the camera on the 10th gen is great! I’m left-handed, so oftentimes I block the camera when I reach for the screen.

I waited to buy an iPad cause I wanted to see 10th gen had to offer. I waited for nothing lol. The 9th gen is better

The iPad 10 is a good introductory model but I would look at Logitech for accessories.

A year later when it’s on sale for $349 and the USB C pencil is on sale for $69, this iPad is a way better buy than at launch

Apple Pencil: the first gen pencil came with an adapter to plug it into a lightning cable (female to female lightning). I know you guys want to be all-in on USB-C but I have several USB-C to lightning cables hanging around from which would allow charging direct from the USB-C port on this iPad without buying a new adapter.

I had an iPad 7, and earlier this year I was planning to update, but was debating on waiting till the 10 came out. In April I decided to get the Air 5 and I'm glad I did. Even though I spent a bit more money, but it was worth it, especially since I use it for drawing. The lag with the pencil in the 10 looks horrible. I suppose I could've spent a bit more and got a Pro, but in Canada, the price hike is a bit higher. I'm happy with the Air5 though, and likely in a year or two I'll go with a Pro.

i have the 9th gen as a quick portable and do a lot of zoom calls so i really wanted to like this one. I don't care about the speaker much bc i use headphones 99% of time and would rather keep the headphone jack though. I already have the apple 1st gen pen for the 9 so thats good but the price should be 399$

If you buy an iPad 10, just get a logitech combo touch. It protects, it feels nice, mine isn’t flimsy and it also is backlit

All the iPads are good it’s just with all products for those who care about price. They always go on sale so patience will get you the device you want at the price you want. Even used devices out there.

Why is everyone saying it’s worse than the iPad 9th gen 😭 For YEARS there hasn’t been any update to the design and now they changed it to a better one and everyone says it’s bad?💀 WHY? Just Bcs the pencil needs a adapter? There hasn’t been a bigger update in the „normal“ iPad lineup.

Here’s how you buy this new 10th GEN iPad. Buy it on sale for $399, buy a third-party keyboard case, which is as good if not better than apples for half the cost, and buy the logitech crayon instead of the Apple Pencil. Holding will probably cost about half the price. Done.

i really love this ipad but i also got it for only $330 from amazon. i only use my ipad inside so i haven’t been bothered by the reflective screen. this ipad was made for casual users only imo like myself that only use it to watch videos, play games, and send messages.
