The Apple Eco System is awesome...no issue with that...I love mine. But the price politics in these days, here in Germany / Europe, is nasty. This will probably have a bad Impact for Apple...for me, the Impact is: that I will not upgrade my existing products and use them as long they are supported. If Apple does not get back to proper price politics, many will probably look for a new Eco System (and maybe even less flowless) in a few years !

I think pre-inflation this would've been closer to $379-399, with the $99 keyboard option from Logitech and $50 pencil from Logitech. I can see it appealing to children, but the prices right now are insane, especially outside the US

Apple has never even paused using non-laminated display. When iPad Air 2 was published in 2014, iPad mini 3 was also out with non-laminated display. When iPad mini 4 was published just late 2015, the old iPad mini 2 was still produced and sold until in 2017 the new entry level iPad came out.
