If you’re gonna fast 5 days then eat 2 days be careful when breaking your fast cause you can mess yourself up if you eat too much after a long fast.

I am at the perimenopause/menopause phase and the more I read about what women go through during the stage and understanding whore moans; I ditch the hard core 16/18 hours a day seven days a week. I have had much more success with the 5/2. I really think for women is something to consider because your body is going through a lot of changes during perimenopause and menopause and your cortisol levels and other hormones are out there acting crazy! I think it is less stressful and more conducive for women at this stage of life. This is just my two cents and following other natural paths and medical doctors who specialize in menopause/perimenopause💜. I love your channel!👍🏾

I am doing the 5:2 method right now and it helps me alot. I eat for 5 days and fast for 2 for maintenance.

I'm trying 4:3 or Alternate Day Fasting. I'm not sure if it's effective like water fasting though.

You have the 5/2 fast backwards. The 5/2 is you eat a normal and healthy diet for 5 days but for 2 days you eat nothing

The 5/2 sounds great! But I’ll make it 4/3 for me — bcuz I recently discovered the magic of sardines and doing a sardine fast which is established for 72 hours that I found out about from Dr. Boz on Youtube. And it’s fantastic and an absolute game changer! Bcuz once you do the sardine fast once, it really slows down weight gain.

Like say, how a person normally gains from 5 to 10 lbs or more real quick by eating their normal diet or after breaking a no food fast — the sardines slows weight gain down to a 1/2 lb or none at all. So I decided to experiment with it and see if sardines has this effect after a no food fast, and found that it does! No weight re-gain after a fast on the sardine fast! So it appears to be safe to break a no food fast with sardines.

I recently did an experiment with the 72 hour dry fast and broke that fast with a sardine fast, and found that the sardines prevents weight re-gain and even allows a little more weight loss after the no food fast, and how I know this. So, I’m a do further experiments, and why I’m going to adjust the 5/2 to 4/3. And although I prefer dry fast I can’t do it dry in the summer. So my next experiment will be a 4 day water fast and then the 3 day sardine fast.

Now, the tradeoff of the sardine fast is having a lot of caned sardines on hand, the ones with olive oil. About 30 cans for a 3 day fast, and some people might not eat it all, but I recommend at least 30 cans so you don’t run out. And then another trade off is for those who don’t like sardines. You might not can pull it off if you really dislike the taste of it. But if anyone want to try to the sardine fast, get your sardines in bulk from Sam’s Club, Costco, or Bj’s Wholesale and you’re good to go. 😊

Ive tried many of the plans. OMAD. , R72, , , waterfasting, , , 21 day fast. Etccc. Im finding the raw fruits n smoothies n fresh pressed juices. Is working for me
