Where protestants miss the plan of salvation is that they deem believers doing any act of obedience in order to be saved " works".
We can't earn salvation, but by putting our faith in action by obeying the plan of salvation in Acts 2:38 we recieve the free gift.
The word " recieve", in the original Greek means " to take hold of".

WE are 'BORN OF WATER' that is NOT baptism. That is the water every baby is born with, the amniotic sac. That which is born of flesh is flesh, is proof that 'Water' is talking about the water that surrounds a baby in their mother's womb. Baptism IS VERY important, and every Christian should do this. The man on the cross next to Jesus was NOT baptized. So please, teaching that baptism is essential for salvation is FALSE!

1 Corinthians 1:17
“For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”

The thief on the cross WASN’T baptized.
Jesus told the woman who was caught in adultery “ neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more.” She wasn’t urged to get baptized yet he forgave her sins.

If baptism was a criteria for salvation that would mean any MAN who baptizes us is saving us.

The Holy Spirit is given upon BELIEF.

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, ”

No mention of baptism in that verse either.

It makes no sense that the Lord would place such a requirement on every human being to achieve salvation. Many have various circumstances and in one example can’t possibly be baptized on their death bed .

Thank you for presenting the biblical truth with regard to the absolute necessity of immersion in order to be saved. A simple, clear, and emphatic truth. The errors of denominational doctrines and preachers must be addressed in a straightforward manner.

The thief on the cross beside jesus wasnt baptized and he was saved by jesus right there on the spot. So whst is the difference ? Corinthians, 1st peter and mathew all say tou dont have to be baptised to be saved

Jesus said to the man on the cross next to him "today you will be with me in paradise". (Luke chapter 23 verse 43). Had this man experienced water baptism???
Charles the Third will not become King at his coronation. He became King when his mother - Queen Elizabeth the Second - died. The coronation symbolises that he is now King.
A coronation for William or George would be nonsense as neither of them are King.
Water baptism is symbolic. You are showing what has happened to you. Nothing is actually happening to you.
