Without faith we can never be saved. By having faith we are able to be saved.

"I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life. None may come to the (Heavenly) Father, except through me" — John 14:6 (words in parentheses added for context).

Cliff is helping me a lot with my daily learning of God. I will use a lot of his teachings when I proclaim the Gospel ❤ :)

We obtain our righteousness and our salvation through nothing else but Jesus It is not a matter of you having genuine faith through what we do or what we don’t do, you said it yourself Cliff and it really really helped my faith “it doesn’t matter how little faith you have in thick ice, if you walk out you will not fall”.

So, it's faith that brings us to the cross, it's obedience that allows us to follow him into becoming the Bride of Christ. Being saved.

“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise”

It's all about true faith on Christ.

What does obedience to the Gospel look like.

Deut. 6:25 And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.”

This is well illustrated, but also important to note that baptism is needed for salvation, along with sacramental mysteries, and good works. Yes works and faith are inseparable, but the issue becomes when we start saying it’s through faith ALONE. One could say if it’s genuine faith then you’ll be baptized, but if you weren’t baptized then that shows forth that the person didn’t have genuine faith, and therefore not saved: so, because they weren’t baptized they weren’t saved (a piece of the pie).

A good Christian gets baptized….And to refuse such things refuses to partake in the commands/Sacraments of God. (Yes, baptism by desire is perfectly legitimate)

Sure, will the act of baptism be the reason you are saved? No.

But we are not saved by Faith alone (James 2:24), our Faith is required to produce works, but it is out of our Love for God, not out of public show

If the thief crucified beside Jesus Christ can make it to paradise with faith alone so can you. Amen

In this World you may be hidden away from Jesus but that cannot last. He will find you.

In truth, if you knew the whole Bible by heart, and the sayings of all the philosophers, what would it profit you without the love of God and his grace?

'Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. '
Acts 2:38

The act of baptism is not what saves, but it is when your sins are forgiven. It is when you are washed in the Blood of the Lamb. And since you cannot go before God with any sin, Baptism is necessary to receive salvation.

Ananias didn't tell Paul "You have repented and are thus saved, now go and preach." He said, 'Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.’ '
Acts 22:16

I also hate when certain popular Christians falsely claim you can get to heaven without obeying Christ. Read Rom 2:8-10, . Read Rom 6:16, . I love this one HEB 5:9 and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; the one I love the most:. HEB 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:. See Cliff has made the mistake of not understanding the free gift of grace that brings us back into relationship with the Father which works through our faith in Christ and eternal salvation which comes through knowing Christ. Pay attention to what Jesus says here:. John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:. ...ask yourself what does He mean by they follow Him? They obey Him. To know him is to obey Him. Luke 13:27 but he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. ❤ Do you see why they were rejected? We get salvation by faith which brings us back into relationship with the Father but eternal life comes from knowing Christ. John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, And I know them, and they follow me: 28 and I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. ❤ Those that follow him which means keeping His commandments. You have to know the Father by faith in Christ and know the Son by keeping His commandments. You have to have both. John 17:3 and this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ❤ 1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. ❤ Please go read the two verses that follow and you will see what it means to follow him. Cliff is wrong on this one not understanding the Gospel. Be blessed Increasing Talents

Jesus said go get baptized. It's a commandment. Go do it.

This is 100% true. I believe that we will be judged on the genuiness of our faith and based on that will determine if we go to heaven and the rewards that we reap.

The way to heaven is through obedience and submission to another individuals demands.
