Some people will want this. Some won’t. I used to volunteer with the elderly for years I will never forget a woman of whom I spent a great deal of time. She was 97 years old. Fit and still of sound mind. She’d take a puff of her cigarette and tell me, “God is cruel. Everyday I wake up is like a cruel laugh to the face. My time on this earth is over. I’ve done everything and I’m ready to go now.”
I’m serious everyday I’d see her she wished she were dead because she felt as though her life was complete and there was nothing more for her to do. She’d tell me all these wonderful stories of her life experiences. She’d tell me she lived a fulfilling life. Some people come to a point in their lives in which they feel as though they have lived a fulfilling life and they just want to go.
In my own observation those who feel unfulfilled always wish for more time to be fulfilled.
Nothing is wrong with either. Just an interesting observation.

I exercise every day at a gym , walk my dog, and eat a nutritious diet. I think I'm doing everything I can. I would prefer to be healthy now than live for ever. I'm 77

I don't really mind looking old, but the elimination of certain diseases that happens in advanced aging is what makes me hopeful about these kind of stuff.

People don’t want to live longer. They want to look better and feel better.

If I died at the age of 100, in the appearance of 30, I would follow all they say

My grandma is 101. She has Alzheimer’s and my parents who are both 80 take care of her with very little help. My sister and I help when we can but we are both married.
It has been hard on the whole family. I hope that there will be a cure for Alzheimer’s within my lifetime.

Rich people : reverse aging
Poor ones : rather die than suffer consequences !

Now imagine having a neighbor who was born in 1860... That would literally freak me out.

I don't see aging as a disease, and with a society as we have, such traitement will cost millions and be available just for the bourgeoise, separating more and more the poor from the rich. It will just be identical to the Love, Death and Robots series/tv show.

Yes. It can be stopped. There is no honor for aging. It pains me to see poor elderly stuck in retirement home. I can't let that happen!

It's true what he says toward the end of the video about exercise. I have worked out at least three days a week since the age of 21. In 2006, at 49 years of age, I got "carded" not once but twice! I have always believed that regular exercise is the true fountain of youth.

Studies show that exercise increases the length of telomeres.

My grandfather was basically a shell of the man he once was after my grandmother died. He died at 86 of leukemia and honestly I don't think he would've wanted to keep living. That woman was his world.
