Could we see the end of ageing?

It is a question almost as old as time - can people live forever? Scientists in Silicon Valley are researching anti-ageing techniques, and could be close to delaying or even stopping certain parts of the ageing process.

Sky's Science and Technology Editor Tom Clarke went to California to find out how close we are to the end of ageing.

Aging process = Protein depletion from bones muscles and organs. Stopped reversed in some ways by weight training leading to reawakening of long lost growth hormone and an increase in metabolism. Not a cure but goes a long way to arming the body.

We must be more realistic here to avoid disappointment, obviously this tech of age reverse even if would be achieved is never gonna truly make us live forever but rather make us be able to extend our lives indefinitely and basically remove the aging factor as something that kills people (unfortunately other things might kill people) but yeah, even being able to live for hundreds of years and escape death by age is something very much extraordinary and something to appreciate, it would be very incredible and would be like science fiction turned into reality..it's like trying to make the seemingly impossible possible..but even airplanes like 100+ years ago looked like something that might never be achieved and here we are having them flying all around the world daily.
