With the title "Becoming the Baron", I was expecting step-by-step guide for how I can rise through the ranks to become the Baron of Giedi Prime.

The way the Baron floats across that long table was pretty chilling. Then he just nonchalantly cuts the doctors head off

When the Baron "got up" for the first time was terrifying. Completely terrifying. Exactly how I imaged him as I read the book. Perfectly done and this movie is insanely amazing.

The way they find him huddled in a corner of the ceiling is absolutely haunting, I didn't think David Lynch's Dune was that bad, but Stellan's Baron is way better.

I love how such a heavy looking character is just floating in the air. It's a very unique and somewhat creepy sight to behold.

Stellan was only recognizeable by his voice for me in the cinema, just fantastic prosthetic work. The whole movie is a marvel of cinematography, outfits, set design and effects.

God what a great antagonist. He had such an impact even though he wasn't in the movie a ton. So glad there is gonna be a part 2, can't wait to see more of this guy.

That snippet of the baron turning off or adjusting his shield as he leans over the camera trying to hear something - I think I know exactly which scene that is and it give me chills and tears.

Skarsgard is phenomenal. I had nightmares about him once. He just play these roles too well.

I think one thing what made this movie so incredibly good was that the visual effects were breathtaking and more on the realistic side. Much like the late 90s, early 2000s movies. Compared to Marvel movies today which are just basically animations tbh and rely heavily on CGI.

Idk I feel like it’s cool how the barons spine implant makes these little critter sounds similar to how Wallace in blade runner used those floating sensory things to be able to see.
