Thanks for this nice review. Some video reviewers have suggested that the LG G2 83" model will not utilize the new EX panel, as IS used in the smaller models (55", 65", and 77"). Might you have any information in this regard? Thanks again

Why are you comparing the G2 to the A80J instead of the A90J?

Would you recommend I put a backlight strip of some kind behind a 77" LG G2 if I'm using the wall mount it came with on a N8 grey wall?

I'm a bit confused in the measurements. The first measurement @4:35 shows RGB balance with the blues dominating. On the next image, the average dE is 1.3 - is that out of the box or after calibration? Then the next slide shows standard color measurements with dE of 8.3 and colors at 131% of rec709. Could you explain those please?


Then you say that those scores are about the same as the C1 and G1 but slightly better than the A80J.

The C2 is nearly identical to the G2 and Tech with KG shot the A80J and the C2 and the A80J is the clear winner in terms of color and image quality. ThaVillaMan did the same with the C2 and the A90J (which produces the same picture as the A80J in 90% of content and therefore twin TVs almost like the C2 and G2) and the A90J handily beat the C2.

I'm not sure how the G2 is better than the A80J and, by extension, the A90J when the C2 lost to both the A80J and A90J. Of course, we are talking image quality, not gaming features, HDMI ports, or ASBL detection where the LG has a clear advantage.

The G2 has the same remote as our LG 75 series nanocell we currently have. Like these remotes however what higher end tv for 2022 would you strongly recommend.

Only 600nits too dark, sony better burn in still issue will avoid
