Got the 77 G2 and it’s imo the best all around tv this year. I had 2 S95Bs both with bent panels and that’s not as it’s intended to be, Samsung is crap. The G2 looks better to me, gaming is just as good, it’s built a lot better and will last longer.

Got last week the 65" G2 on sale for 1700€ (300 cashback from LG included). Best pre-christmass shoping ever 😁

I might be fooling my eyes, but the G2 seems to have deeper blacks because of the better heat dissipation. Which results in better contrasts in areas of bright and dark areas that are next to each other. For example, tree shadows on that bright grassland or textures in clouds.
Definitely getting a G2 to replace my B8.

S95 Color gamut is way too saturated and falls off the true colour spectrum. I Got my G2 instead of the C2.
The price difference was 200 dollars. The G2 is discounted by $1000.00 at Canadian retailers for BF sales

Thanks for this VID

I just got approved for a Geek Squad replacement on my C9. Fingers crossed they give me a C2 !!!

I think the G2 looks 2% more natural with its colors and the whites don't look blue-ish like in the C2.

Still rocking the 5 year old B6. Still looks incredible.

The G2 also features an ATSC 3.0 tuner that the C2 does not have. ATSC 3.0 is the next generation of broadcast television, so buyers who are interested in receiving the highest-quality digital over-the-air 4K TV signals may want to have this future-ready capability that is included in the G2.

C2 and G2 are both fantastic TV but after this comparison i could say that G2 is truly the better TV

One of the big differences between these two TV's is the G2 has Nextgen ATSC 3.0 tuner making it future proof whereas the C2 doesn't.

I have the 42" C2 EVO which is my bedroom computer monitor and TV. While the G2 may be brighter, I have to run the C2 at lowered settings or bright scenes burn my eyeballs out! So the G2 would not be worth the extra cost for me and I surely do not need extra brightness! My room can be pitch black anytime due to darkening curtains. I know the G2 also has the NTSC 3.0 tuner, but I do not need that either and there will be external solutions for the billions and billions of older TV's.

The brighter highlights of the G2 gives the pictures a more 3D look.

The C2 looks better in most of those comparison videos. The C2 looks brighter and more vibrant with colours so I’m confused as to how the video says it’s the G2 that’s meant to be brighter. I’ve just purchased a 77” G2 as well 😳

Price difference is now $100.00! And could not pass up.
C2 = $1, 699.00 and the G2 = -$1, 799.00 For the 65"!
At Best Buy, just ordered the G2 for installation in a few days. Being a total tech member = free wall mount installation as well.

I wanna prefix this by saying I'm a total noob to TVs and I'm only going off of my impressions:

I had the opportunity to see the full lineup of LG OLED TVs in person in MediaMarkt (A2, B2, C2, G2) in close proximity of each other and I went back and forth comparing them for like an hour (they were playing the same content).

I'm so glad I went into the store and actually looked at them myself instead of buying a cheaper model online thinking the difference wouldn't be that big.

The A2 and B2 had good image quality, but they didn't impress me with the level of brightness on them when compared to the C2 and G2. The latter 2 are in a completely different league.
If I had the budget to buy the A2 or B2, I would instead go with a larger-sized non-OLED because to me these entry level models didn't stand out as much from other LED, QNED, etc TVs
BUT that could be because of the high brightness environment in the store the OLEDs with their lower brightness can't shine as much.

When I compared the C2 and G2 to the cheaper LG OLEDs the difference in brightness was very noticable.
It was a difference experience watching the C2 and G2 because the high brightness on them created a truly high dynamic range with the deep blacks and sparkly highlights, I was really immersed.

The difference between the C2 and G2 were small but noticeable, and the difference shows in this youtube video too.
I wouldn't say the G2 is worth it to me tho, the higher brightness wasn't observable all the time and it definitely wasn't as big of a jump as the C2 was from the B2.

I also checked out similarly priced Sony OLEDs but it was hard to compare them to the LGs because they were playing a completely different content, but they were gorgeous too.

I haven't ordered the TV yet but when I will it will be the C2 for sure. The 65 inch model looked amazing in person.

I was fortunate to have the LG C1 TV earlier this year for as long as I possibly could but ended up having to sell it due to financial problems. Literally sick about it to this day

I have the 65” G2 but wish to return it and get a 77”.

In my region the 77” G2 is a 1000€ more at 3500€ compared to the 77” C2 at 2500€. 3 year warranty is included in the price for the C2 compared to factory 5 year warranty with the G2.

I already have a great Sanus 3rd party stand and will be stand mounting it regardless of model.

Naturally I would rather the G2 due to the extra 2 years warranty, heatsink and nicer build quality but at 1000€ more, I think I might wait a little longer until it comes down in price. Got 15 days left on the return window.
