Hello Bern, I was in a relationship 3 years longer than I should have been. Within 6 months of the relationship I knew I had to go. But I stayed. I wanted it to workout. One day I said to myself I've had enough and I did the GHOST on him, I stopped calling him, I stop texting him I never saw him again I walked away ...cold turkey. It was very hard to do... but for my sake I had to do it. I did the work on myself I got the healing that I needed .I forgave myself for seeing the signs and ignoring them, I forgave him for the wrong that he did to me, I love myself more and now one year later I can honestly say that it was for my good. I am so whole and so complete.

1. You are not emotionally available. You feel you are not enough.
You are emotionally co-dependent. You feel you cannot live without him. You will heal faster alone.
2. The man consistently does not enjoy it when you are really yourself. He tries to change you to his ideal.
3. Emotionally and/orphysically abusive relationship. He gets high or hard or 'one up' from seeing you suffer. Instead of compassion. 'I told you so type of guy, ' consistently makes you feel not good enough. Guy who uses or threatens to use force against you.
