We love this clip by @doc_mraz where she demonstrates an exercise that abducts your big toe (moving your toe outwards… and your big toe can do this!) Abducting your big toe engages your arch and helps with propulsion. If you don’t have the foot control, simply create space and move your toe outwards. You’ll instantly feel your arch working.

Regaining foot strength and foot control does take time, but the results will come. Start with the basics by wearing toe spacers and reassessing your footwear to make sure it has a wide toe box.
