I have never seen Anne of Green Gables.. until last night.. I Fell in love, what a story line, what glorious dialog.. it is so sweet with so many hidden treasures.

I remember seeing this as a child. And thinking it was boring. How could I? Now that I'm older, I have so much more appreciation for the superb acting and such a great seeing beautiful scenery, just a great story altogether.

I can’t believe they would have that kind of a conversation with Anne sitting right there, I mean she’s more or less being told we don’t want you, hell if I’d been in her shoes I’d have been crying my eyes out just like she did.

I grew up on this my mom give me the video when I was a child and told me I'd love it, I still cry like a baby at 26 at Matthew and anne. I tried to watch the new series Anne with an e and it's okay I guess for people who haven't seen these ones. But I find myself comparing and the acting isn't as great as this. I think I'll always come back to this no matter how many are made but I'm glad that people who know who Anne Shirley is old or new because this brought me lots of tears and happiness :)
