RIP Jonathan Crombie(Gilbert Blythe) gone, but never forgotten. His memory will live on in those of us who still watch and love this amazing miniseries. This movie was part of my childhood and will forever be an amazing memory to me.

I have loved someone deeply, like Gil loved Anne, and I too have had it be unrequited. I do hope, like Anne and Gil, that changes someday.

Poor Gil, always putting on a brave face for Anne while he's dying inside, putting her joy before his own, being genuinely happy for her successes. If only we could all be that good to the people in our lives.
