This one gets me every time. Though the next scene, when he's well again, looking super handsome, and they're on the bridge is my ultimate forever favourite scene ever! Also love a few scenes before this, when Anne's walking to Green Gables with Catherine, and Marilla sees her, and the music swells, and Anne runs and I'm in a puddle of tears! My favourite movie ever, I think I'll watch it this weekend! :)

Im going through an AOGG obsession again at 43! Thanks for posting. I just ordered a poster of the ending bridge scene. What a show it was. There was no swearing, violence, nudity, just utterly breathtaking scenery, costumes and brilliant acting. I cant get enough. Wish JC was still with us. He WAS GIL handsome 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
