Great advice! I wasn't living for the LORD when I decided to get married, and believe me when I say that marrying him was a mistake that I am still paying for all these years later! He turned out to be a very devilish person! He was very abusive, lied about everything, was crazy about pornograhy and absolutely hooked on drama! If I had it to do over again, I would run away as fast as I could! Take it from someone who's been there; you really, really don't want to be stuck in that kind of situation! It's like a total nightmare that you cannot wake up from! Be sure to magnify those "red flags" and investigate each one of them carefully! Be kind to yourself! Don't settle for less, because you deserve more! God bless everyone!

I mean the thing is people simply don't want to wait for the right person. They're chasing a fairytale and want marriage for the wrong reasons. And then once the novelty wears off (it does) they want out. Women are more susceptible to this because there's a lot of social pressure to marry, post wedding pictures and social media, and live happily ever after. Whenever I've talked with divorced women about their version of events on why their marriages failed, a lot of the times it because they overlooked red flags and/or thought the guy would change. But they didn't want to be single anymore so they went through with it.
