I disagree Dr. Greg! The part in bed with the lube, tissues and schlong is not an excuse! It‘s a convienient and alternative training method for arms as well as HIIT cardio…

I just recently broke my arm on the armwrestling table and i must say, these are exactly the words i needed to hear. I've heard this information before i just wasn't sure of its integrity.
Thanks, coach greg.

I actually have never heard of cross education, that’s so sick! This came just in time, I’ve been nurturing an overuse injury in my right medial ankle tendon. Let’s get it!

It depends on what you injured for one and second, doing exercises you can do without any pain to area of injury. I recommend just doing lighter weight exercises since you dont want to do heavy workouts but rather just maintain during any injury. You will recover quicker while doing this as well. People just need to use some damn common sense. Stimulate your muscles and dont go overboard with your workouts.

A few months ago, I aggravated my back and developed debilitating sciatica. I literally spent weeks lying in bed or on the living room floor. After about a month, I thought I could maybe go back to the gym as long as I didn't do any back bending or lower body exercises at all. I went to my crossfit-style gym during their open gym hours rather than attending a group class. For strength training, I mainly did standing dumbbell or band exercises. This required me to become more knowledgeable in this area, since before I primarily did compound barbell movements. For conditioning, I bought an arm bike (MagneTrainer-ER Mini Exercise Bike with neutral grip handles), which I set on top of two wooden step-up boxes. This enabled me to do conditioning workouts. For instance, I might do 5 rounds of 1 minute each of arm biking, ring rows, and overhead dumbbell press. Even though I could still barely walk because flexing my foot at all caused an immediate calf spasm, it felt really good to go to the gym, get my heart rate up, get in a good sweat, and feel some good muscle soreness in my upper body. Even though my current limitations are very frustrating, I try to focus on what I can do. I hope this helps someone else.

Greg, I just want to say thank you for this. I have been hospital bound after a serious accident. I was hit by a car and broke both legs, both arms, 6 ribs, 3 vertebrae, 6 finger, 2 toes and my right cheek bone. It's been so difficult especially with the cancer treatment I have to go through and the 13 surgeries had and 6 planned surgeries to fix my broken body. Having to be on antibiotics all day every day due to my reoccurring sepsis and leaking lymphnodes. Thanks to you I will be training everyday, even though my doctor says "no thats a terrible idea". Even though it's physically impossible for me to even feed myself I've grown the courage, thanks to this video, to continue training harder and harder. I will no longer sit around while these Dr's and nurses tell me I can't physically stand on my own, they say it's impossible. I say I have to train, I have to be greater.

I remember when I first got really bad tennis & golfers elbow in my arms I immediately thought I had to do absolutely no training, which is why I was so bummed about it. It wasn't I saw an excellent physical therapist/Doctor who explained everything Greg just said that I felt some sort of relief. Definitely apply common sense to your body & listen. If it hurts don't do it, if it doesn't hurt or cause any issues then do it! Helped me so much physically & mentally!
