The brain is the most important organ of our body that controls and coordinates the functioning of the body. Bad habits cause damage to our brain cells and this affects its functioning leading to dire consequences. It is necessary that, we must maintain a good routine that includes healthy eating, regular exercise, and gentle behavior that makes us physically and mentally strong. People don't realize that their bad habits are ruining their brain cells which they need to change right away to stay healthy. There are some common mistakes that we make in our daily life and we need to control them in the right way and on the right time to prevent any harm to our brain. In the following lines, I will discuss 8 bad habits that are killing your brain cells that need to be changed immediately.

1) Skipping breakfast:
Breakfast is the first and most important meal of the day that has to be healthy providing you with energy to begin your day. The people who skip their breakfast in the morning, complain about poor memory and inability to concentrate on their work. When a person skips breakfast then the supply of glucose is cut disturbing the blood sugar level of the body and when the nervous system it's not getting enough supply of nutrients then this will cause nerve damage.

2) Smoking:

Smoking is another common bad habit that shortens the lifespan of a person. Smoking causes and number of health issues such as causing permanent damage to brain cells. When a person smokes too much then it causes his brain to shrink and that person is most likely to get Alzheimer's disease in the long run.

3) Not getting enough sleep at night:
The people who are deprived of sleep are unable to perform their work properly. This is because lack of sleep affects the functioning of the brain. A serious problem that occurs because of lack of sleep is memory loss. When a person is not getting enough sleep and night then this makes the brain cells to die. So, a person must get at least 7 hours of sleep to restore its energy.

4) Working while you are sick:
When we are sick then we force our brain to work with its full capacity. In this situation, the brain utilizes all its energy that is needed for the healing process. This habit not only weakens our immune system but all kills the brain cells. So, a person must not work unless and until he is healthy and active.

5) Eating lots of sugary foods:
People these days have a bad habit of eating sugary foods. Too much sugar intake reduces the absorption of nutrients thereby leading to malnutrition. When there is lack of nutrition in the body then our brain cells will ultimately die. For the good working of your brain, you need to cut down the intake of sugary foods.

6) Lack of communication:
It is a good habit to communicate with people around you. This will stimulate the development of the brain. If you want to improve the working capacity of your brain then it is very important to participate in healthy discussions. Socialization gives confidence to a person and if you don't communicate with people then you will get depressed and this damages your brain cells.

7) Watching TV all the time:
Spending your quality time in creative and healthy activities sharpen your brain. People with a bad habit of watching TV all the time are deprived of sleep at night. It is not a healthy activity and it makes oneself fed up. Watching too much TV weakens the cells of the brain. Therefore you need to set up for goals and try hard to achieve them by improving your relationship with people around you.

8) Excessive use of Alcohol:
The use of alcohol is not good for the brain because it causes chemical imbalance. People who have excess use of alcohol destroy their brain cells that is why they find difficulty in thinking and coordinating. It is very important that, you limit your intake of alcohol otherwise you will have serious health issues such as heart disease, liver failure, cancer, and so on.

Actually the heart is far more important!! Our toroidal field (energy field) comes from the heart. The heart and stomach both also serves as a second and third brain. Furthermore we can survive without our chemical computer aka brain, but cannot without our sacred heart. Namaste and blessings
