It is time to lose weight and keep it off for good! If you are not losing fat then you might be making some mistakes. That is why I am going to give you 4 reasons why you’re not losing fat. There are so many factors that go into fat loss. You might notice some mistakes being made when you hit a stubborn weight loss plateau. Stop this from holding you back. These are fixable mistakes to help you get back on track to reaching your goals. Here are the 4 mistakes you might be making.

Mistake #1: NOT BEING ACTIVE ENOUGH. A lot of the time with work, you may not be given the opportunity to get up and get moving during the work day. No matter what your diet is, a sedentary lifestyle will make it hard to lose weight. Whether it is walking, jogging, running, golfing, etc…any form of exercise or activity can help you with your weight loss. Find something you enjoy doing and make a routine of it.

Mistake #2: UNDERESTIMATING YOUR CALORIES. There are healthy foods that can add up quickly in calories if you are not careful. It is also easy to overeat if you are not used to tracking your macros. If you hit a weight loss plateau, it would be good to track your calories for a couple weeks because you may be consuming more calories than you realize.

Mistake #3: EATING CHEAT MEALS. Establish healthier eating habits by eliminating the typical cheat foods for at least 90 days. That doesn’t mean you can never eat your cheat foods again, it just means you need to take a break to get more weight loss success on your fitness journey.

Mistake #4: NOT DOING CARDIO AT ALL. Cardio is essential to optimizing weight loss, and it is any exercise that gets your heart rate up and keeps it up. Running, jogging, or any form of high intensity interval training, plus many more. Not doing cardio at all means you need to eat at a severe caloric deficit, which restricts nutrients and will not give you enough energy for the day.

And make sure you're getting your sleep! Lack of sleep can affect metabolism, cortisol, ghrelin, lepitn, and how your body handles it's insulin, therefore glucose, therefore sugar as fat storage.

You shouldn't be concerned about loosing weight, you should be concentrated on loosing fat! Be in a calorie deficit, cut out bad carbs and sugars..get moving.. walk, workout, etc.

You guys put out some damn good videos but they're pretty much gear for men under 65. I am 73 and work out at the Y three days a week for 90 minutes to 2 hours. Most of my workouts are weight resistance. Have you ever put out a video geared to us old geezers over 70?

Not trying to lose weight just finish eating a lot of candy and I got this prostate problem getting up 3 time urinating it stop for a couple weeks but I'm working out I try to stay water down I use to stop drinking water before 630 at night it work stop eating sugar too sleeping through the night damn it felt good got to figure this out 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔👀👀👀🆗🆗🆗💪💪💪💪👍👍

to lose weight = eat 1/2 of what you normally do and eliminate sugars. years ago i did this and lost 4# a week, and kept it up for weeks.

Do you use TRT? No shame in it just wondering? I work with a few guys in their 50's that are built like you and they attribute their progress to TRT...they swear by it.
