The R3 is great for those going through the MSF as a course bike, but unless you live in dense cities, its underpowered.
The Ninja 400 is great for beginners across the use case spectrum, though is arguable as a platform to grow with(despite many cases where it has passed higher cc bikes, namely in corners).
Every operator is different, so sportbikes are not for everyone, though it is important to take advantage of test drives to see if its works/is comfortable for you, and don't forget that many bikes have adjustable features(most have lever and rear suspension adjustments, others have so much more(changing parts further adds personal touches), so some experimentation is necessary to find YOUR happy medium

This is gonna sound soooo stupid but how do you balance on a motorcycle??😭 I e been trying to figure out this balance issue for my whole life (15 years) and I can't balance on a bike or motorcycle while sitting still... I can balance a bike in motion just not still... What do you recommend??
