My first bike was a 17 CBR500R. After almost 9k miles, I’m waiting on my 21 CBR650R to come in as my 2nd bike. Wish this one made the list. I’ll probably look into the Rebel 1100 in a few years.

Still kinda mad I didn’t get a R6 or Zx-6R for my second bike 😪 still in love with my 2003 Aprilia RSV Mille 👌🏾

I bought my Kawasaki z400 and am loving learning to ride, might be a year or 2 before I think of something else, but I'm so glad I started

My 2nd bike was a 2016 Street Triple R. No regrets, but I definitely had to take some time to grow into it. Not the fastest but no slouch by any means.

My first bike is a GSXF 650. Didn't do too much research on it before I got It because the price was right. Haven't looked back, its been such an amazing bike to learn on so far. A little heavy sometimes but otherwise just a whole lotta fun.

Picked up my 2nd bike this past November a 2014 Daytona 675R with 3200 miles after riding a cb300r I love it

My second bike was a first gen sv650s. The one with the half fairing and clip ons. Going from 30 horsepower to 70 makes a big difference! Thing feels like it pulls like a rocket! Sounds the beans too with a full exhaust.

I've done a lot of looking into it, Yamaha's 700 line (MT-07/FZ-07, XSR700, R7) has gained a lot of traction as fantastic starter bikes with a decent amount of putdown so you don't get bored and not too much power to handle, especially in the top end. Will caution against the wheelie-happy nature of the XSR700, but the other three are definitely contenders.

I agree with you on the ZX6R, I’m keeping my 2019 R3, and I’m getting a ZX6R as my 2nd bike soon (mostly for fun weekend twisty rides)

Getting a Vitpilen 401 as my first in a few months and eyeing the R7 as a second bike mainly for track day fun once I've got some experience under the belt
