According to Kopite, the GB100 Blackwell data-center GPU is set to utilize 10 TPCs (Texture Processing Clusters) within each of its 8 GPCs (Graphics Processing Clusters). This configuration suggests an increase in the total core count over GH100 (8×9), unless NVIDIA decides to alter the CUDA layout within these TPCs, which currently appears improbable.

What’s even more noteworthy is that details about the GB202 GPU configuration have also been hinted at, reportedly featuring 12 GPCs with 8 TPCs each, resulting in a total of 192 SMs (two per TPC), in line with previous leaks. To clarify, while the GB1XX GPU family is designed for data centers, the GB2XX series is explicitly intended for gaming and potentially workstation applications. It will power NVIDIA’s next-generation gaming experience. Unfortunately, information regarding the design of Tensor and RT Cores remains undisclosed at this point.

If this card does exist will it be faster than the nVidia RTX 5090?

Tell us what you think in the comments!

the way the 4090 sold makes it a no brainer in the next gen to bring back the titan series

i would take even DDR6, but more memory. To be reliable for several years GPU must have at least 128Gb VRAM. 32Gb is not enough and only make sense if they make on software level working with portions of memory (but with such any old card can be usable). Right now stable diffusion not even starting after discovering that you have like 16Gb free VRAM, but it needs like 16, 5Gb and error "no memory", sorry, many complaining how small their 4090s, it's very powerful card but everything spoiled by memory. I was waiting all this time until China makes some mutant 4090 with soldered additional memory, they really like to produce such weird electronics like weird cards, notebook chips for desktops and etc 😅

I’d be interested in an ai enthusiast card that can also do gaming. Depending on the price ofc

In the coming years, I think a PC will have two cards. A card for graphics and another card dedicated to AI. For games with AI NPCs, procedural generation etc
