This is if you happen to live in a major city where this streaming app will work. And IF you happen to live in a major city where this streaming app works, well, you don't really need this because you can pull in these stations with an antenna!!!

Local antenna and using WMC 10 on windows 11 from the green button forum. I use schedules direct for listings. I run an older desktop with 5 tuners and 14TB of data space for recording. I get all locals for free. For streaming I use firestick 4k and I get DD 5.1 sent to a sony reciever. PC has an GT730 Nvidia card, handles HDMI video and sound well.

My digital antenna costs @$5 and is the size of a mouse pad. But I'm less than 7 miles from broadcast stations. Cheers

I bet many Locast viewers are freeloading and not paying anything towards donations.
So, what if Locast paid retransmission fees to the networks and made their subscription fee mandatory? How much more than $5 per month would they have to pay to recoup their costs?

This service is gone bye-bye. You would have to be in the current location to watch the service or use a VPN if you are not in that location. in addition, this service was not free. In order to watch uninterrupted broadcast without ads, you would have to donate five dollars.

Doesnt work in most areas....only works if locast detects your area is a major signal area.
