How To Live Stream ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox for Free

In this video I show a legal way to live stream ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, PBS, and CW for free. The website is similar to the now defunct Locast but is a true non-profit. It works great as a substitute for a channel that's missing from an antenna.

My problem is NOT getting lots of channels...my problem is getting somebody to install, point, and properly test the signal for optimum strength (i.e they know what to do besides climbing onto the roof). I'm not talking about some guy getting up on a ladder and putting the antenna on a pole (I can find a handy man to do that). I'm between Buffalo and Rochester NY. I'm 71 and my climbing on ladders days are over.

Great video! I am lucky that a modest indoor attic antenna works for all the stations in my area. Your advice has helped along the way!

Got the Channel Master Stealth Antenna and RCA preamp and picking up over 90 channels from two different cities 50 miles away in different directions.

I just wish they would have an east coast feed, but it is what it is. Appreciate your videos!

Here’s a tip: if you happen to encounter the 500 user limit message when you join the site, just refresh the page over and over again. Usually within a minute at least 1 person will leave the site and you’ll be let in.

Great content on your videos. Very informative. Back in the 1970's, my parents lived on a hill in central Maine and we had a rotary antenna on top of the house. I got into some DXing long distant TV signals and on some good days, I could receive Boston stations. I even got beyond that range when atmosphere conditions were good. Lots of fun to search for signals back in the analog days.

Antenna's only work if you live within the TV Stations range. I have a Lake Trailer Property and the CBS, NBC, ABC Channels that air our States local News channels is 56-57 air miles away which limits my viewing of those channels to only perfect weather days between the the Lake Property and the Stations. My Primary home is way out of those station ranges.

I wish someone still made my current antenna, a DX Antenna Active5 which switches direction electrically without the need for a rotor and covers VHF-Low/FM thru UHF. The UHF amp is starting to fade after 20 years though.

Thank you! Just keep in mind the channels you can watch are not your local channels. For example i live in PA and the ABC is not ch6 in Philly its the ABC in San Francisco.

Puffer is great but during Football season you better log on early or you won't get a seat at the table.

Some Positive Feedback !!
Thank you for turning us on to this site.
They have been "antenna challenged" since you recommended them, but they finally got their new antenna up.
What a great job, they have it dialed in !!
I know the challenges they faced, and think they did a great job.
How to I contact them to tell them so, give them a thumbs-up or something ??

Puffer should work well for me, as I live in the Bay Area anyway, but in an area in which some of the broadcast TV signals are hard to pick up with an antenna.

That's for the puffer suggestion. I am surprised I was able to get it here in Canada

One challenge is areas like NYC where there are many areas that are near deadzones for antennas, especially when the direction of the transmitter has a large apartment building complex between you and the transmitter. Most developments to not take into considering RF propagation, thus over time, you end up in a situation where even though the transmitters are 10-12 miles away, many channels have a very weak signal even with an amplified antenna.

I would add the main station of most PBS streams on the PBS app
