We now know that food poisoning can trigger and lead to a cascade of events in the gut that result in IBS.

In this week’s episode of The Doctor’s Farmacy, Dr. Mark Pimentel explains how toxins produced by bacteria, such as salmonella, can severely harm the digestive system by damaging nerves critical to healthy gut function, and how post-infectious IBS can also lead to autoimmunity.

Something's going on???? DUH!!!! When was the last time you looked at the ingredients on the 'food' we eat???? The number of chemicals and hormones in our foods is making our nation sick. I figured it out on 'accident' when I ended up on a liquid diet due to neurological disfunction affected my ability to swallow. I now eat very little processed food and my 'gut' issues are healing them selves. The fact that this video is putting it off on food poisoning and autoimmune disease makes people think they don't have a choice. I guarantee if we get rid of all the overly processed crap called food we would have a healthier nation....

This is why I will continue taking my probiotics, I don't care what my gastroenterologist says. My digestion has improved 10 folds by taking advise from a woman in line at the grocery store!!

Absolutely it’s an autoimmune disease. Developed “Asthma” at 40! 😣🤦🏻‍♀️ Except it’s Eosinophilic Asthma where the white blood cells explode in numbers to fight off an “infection” because my leaky gut lets bacteria and undigested food particles into the blood stream. So it’s like I’m always sick. Allergies/food intolerance/histamine intolerance, congestion, Gi issues. Brain fog, anxiety and depression. All of those things and a ton more are a result of a leaky gut!

Ok everybody, in the US at least, lucky for you I'm here to help.
1) Go to the grocery store
2) Choose any product at random, even in the "health food section"
3) Got something? Ok good, now read the ingredients and any warnings aloud. Don't worry, you don't have a sudden onset of dyslexia, that's the way food is really spelled. You'll see a lot of words that look like Diphobiadafuckdapeptatide... you know, delicious food stuff. If it says "protein" or something vague like that, that could be anything... and I mean anything.
4) Because these unpronounceable chemicals and dubious ingredients are approved by an agency paid for by your own tax dollars, you now know how they feel about you... plus, plus you now know what probably ails 99.9% of humans. And the dude you go to and pay $300 for a 5 minute appointment that he shows up late for every time? He'll never tell you what I just told you. He'll likely blame whatever bothers you on the one cigarette you smoked 20 years ago and family history and scribble out an incredibly expensive medicine in an attempt to fix whatever afflicts you. Those have even better stuff in them than what's in that packet of food that's in your hand right now. Read the pamphlet that comes with it after your prescription is filled. I bet you never have and that overpaid tardy person in a white coat, that you trust so much, likely hasn't either.

You're welcome.

I blame glyphosate, overuse of antibiotics - in humans and especially in cheap meat farm animals and fish, high sugar/flour/fried foods, inflammatory omega 6 seed oils: corn oil, canola oil, vegetable/soybean oil, and aspartame and all artificial sweeteners…Is that enough to give you a stomachache?! And don’t forget heavy metals in your chocolate dessert

Is this a problem in cultures that regularly eat kimchi, raw sauerkraut, or fermented milk products?

There’s bacteriophages and mycophages, viruses that kill bacteria and fungi, respectively. I think all these antiseptics are killing the viruses that kill these invaders. The bacteriophages don’t hurt us and are selective about which bacteria it kills. So, specialized bacteriophages are considered prebiotics apparently.

So?? What’s a plan on how to fix and how long does it take?

Yes. I develop Seebo and from that point on I’ve never been the same. Too much bacteria buildup after you stop taking in Normas amount of anabiotic’s. I have lupus now borderline but lupus

Glyphosphate used as a desiccant to increase yields at harvest time...
Why else is our wheat/rye/barley so toxic, but people with inflammation can eat forbidden foods in European countries?

I've taken Rifaximin alone a ton of time with no recourse. Added Neomycin and it was like Exctacy. Unfortunately about 4 days after treatment...everything was right back to hell.

It is mostly psychological. The gut is sensitive to stress and anxiety.

You won't hear that problem from people who are on the carnivore diet

80-90% carnivore. A lil high fat dairy, a couple fruits per week, and a couple sweet potatoes, carrots, and leafy grreens per week. Lots of butter or tallow. Drink tons of water. Lil coffee. No alcohol or soda except maybe once a month. Do that you live healthy
