I really love the redemption of the lawyer. He had so much guilt from getting Al’s name cleared despite knowing he was guilty, and he becomes the one who turns him in at the end.

I love some of the subtle nods like the directorial choice of it being a female police officer finding her necklace in the ashes and a female police officer slapping the cuffs on Monroe.

To people thinking the ending sucked. The ending was reality. A man drunk and one hand tied behind his back easily killed her. Men can easily kill women and do it everyday. Very powerful and made its point

As horrific as it was because Cassie died, she knew that was the only way he’d get true justice for what he did. I like to think that even though she was terrified in those last minutes of life, she knew she’d see Nina again and be with her.

People talk about men’s lives being destroyed because of an action they chose. All the women who have to live a lifetime with what happened to them. I think this movie was perfect and showed that bystanders are just as guilty too

The more you think about it she literally planned the entire thing because he was never gonna go to jail for what he did to Nina but he would go to jail for killing Cassie so she knew that she was gonna die anyways

AMAZING MOVIE 👏

Jordan Green asked for forgiveness, and sincerely apologized. Not only did Cassie forgave him, but she also put her trust in him to deliver justice when she was gone.
His redemption act is completed by helping her enact her revenge, Jordan is truly an amazing character, if perhaps not the greatest in the movie.
Who would have thought the lawyer would get redemption but not the boyfriend, the female dean or their old female friend?

Only sad thing is thinking of Cassie"s parents. Her father said"She always come back" that broke my heart

She absolutely sent that video to all of Ryan's contacts too.

To me this is the most fitting ending they could come up with. It's not what we expected, it's bittersweet and everything comes full circle. Cassie completes her mission, but it comes at a cost.

To this day, infuriates me that some people think the ending isn't powerful, and the more I think about it, the more I love it. If she had killed him, it wouldn't even be a case of "he said, she said". She would be the crazy obsessed woman who ended the life of a golden boy who could never harm anyone. She guaranteed the impossibility of people shifting the narrative and making it look like _she_ had any fault in the man being capable of hurting others in despicable ways, as he did, while also getting not one (which would be the case with killing, killing one is all she would be able to 'achieve') but two of the men at least with a tarnished reputation, something almost impossible, as the movie shows.

This is possibly the most badass ending to a movie I’ve seen yet!

What I love about this is everybody at the wedding already know why the police are the bride who is clueless

I don't know how people could hate the ending. This was a great ending. Especially as even if he confessed the time limitation was up on him being charged with rape. If she had killed him no one else would have been punished or brought to light. Her death will actually expose a lot more and result in a more serious prison sentence than the rape charge ever would have.

Not since Deadpool has 'Angel of the Morning' been so appropriately used in a film.

3:21 The shot of Max Greenfield running away is one of the funniest moments in the film for me

At that moment, the bride’s father should stand up and say, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, let us use this time to celebrate the fact my daughter was saved a lifetime of misery.’

I finally undertand the counting. It's the same as how she counted the men in her notebook. And just like in the book, it end at 5, and so is this scene.

The scheduled SMS she sent to ryan is like breaking the 4th wall, telling us that we thought it's end when she died.

I love how in the scene earlier, Joe told Al "Don't worry, pal, I'm your friend, I got your back", but as soon as actual trouble showed up, he was like "Nah, F this, you're on your own." They always say they got your back, but they'll always only think of saving their own hide. When faced with the consequences of their action, they showed their true faces: cowards.

What infuriates me about the movie is how two innocent women had to die for one bastard abuser to go to jail. Still one of my favorite films of all time.
