I’m so glad they went with this ending. The original ending was them getting away with it because that’s the reality for so many women. Test audiences hated that so they changed it to them getting caught.

The female police officer who found the location of Cassie's buried body.
The female detective who dragged Al from the wedding.
Cassie's colleague who got the necklace from the cashier machine.
The humiliated bride who knows nothing.

I was completely bummed she got killed….but then this ending had me crying and cheering.

Saw this film with my boyfriend and the best part was the conversation we had afterwards. It was an eye-opener for him. The part that messed with him the most was how, in his words Ryan "seemed like a decent guy" and yet he let the assault happen and didn't speak up afterwards. It really shocked him. We had a very insightful and heartfelt talk on the drive home about the various topics and issues presented in the film.

Essentially Cassie knew he'd never be caught for Nina's SA but she knew that they'd do something dumb again because they were all predictable. So she had to get them for her own death. The entire time she planned her murder.

Cassie gave the prosecutor a second chance, and he took it. She jbew the police would actually listen to him, but if had ignored her letter, like he oroginally ignored evidence, this elwould have ended differently. He atoned.

I think she is so lucky. She could have spent the rest of her life with this man. She can get an annulment and not be married to a rapist and murderer.

what really gets me about this scene is how, although we won't get to see the aftermath of al's arrest, there will probably still be people on his side advocating for him because of his "nice guy" front and the fact that cassie had purposely gone to the bachelor party.

there will probably still be people choosing to see the good in a man whose actions ended and destroyed the lives and promise of two women and it's a sobering and uneasy thing to think about.

I LOVE this ending but always gives me anxiety in my stomach just knowing that it takes a fictional woman doing all these extreme things to make sure these men get what they deserve. Like we live in a world where actual justice is so rare that it’s one of the best movie endings I’ve ever seen in my life

As sad as it was that Cassie didn’t make it, I had to sit and realize, she never would’ve been truly happy. She needed to be reunited with Nina.

I love how Joe just runs away in the end because he is a COWARD. Sure he may be all professional and manly and handsome or whatever, but he was only with Al because he was respected. Once the police come in to arrest Al, Joe disappears because in reality Joe wasn't even a true friend of Al at all.

The bride has no idea the size of the bullet she just dodged. This is literally going to be the easiest annulment ever.

That he would go to the wedding after knowing, or being fairly certain, that Al or one of them murdered Cassie, is so scary.

The usage of Juice Newton’s _”Angel of the Morning”_ is epic in this scene. You just can’t have this scene without it. The song definitely sets the tone for the final act. Whosever idea this was deserves big time kudos
