It’s not just the Bible. The Catholic Church also chose the dates for Protestant holy days, or perhaps more accurately the Protestants did not come up with their own days of observance like in Orthodoxy. For example Protestants celebrate Christmas on December 25 or especially Easter which is celebrated on the first Sunday after the full Moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox, according to rulings by the Catholic Church.

And the one true church did give us the actual Bible.

Protestants worship the Word but not the words of Jesus in the upper room.

You either believe in the authority of Jesus Church as he founded it and as was described in the Bible, or you believe that each man is his own Pope making up his own cannon and his own interpretation of that cannon.

To think that the Holy Spirit was not present when these Church leaders were praying, discussing, probably fasting to put the books God wanted together for His Church and new Covenant would be a mistake. He gave the Catholic Church this authority and the authority to teach its meaning.

both Protestant/ Catholic Bibles say if you add or subtract you're you're in danger of hell.

interesting that many Protestant's have for generations said the Pope is just a man. Martin Luther is just a man. so is king James just a man.

God bless both of these men. 🙏 Jesus wants all Christians to be One like He and His Father are One.
Like Father Chris Alar says for 1500 years all Christians were Catholic.

It’s actually much worse. Martin Luther had all 73 books in his Bible. It was a printer over 100 years later that removed the 7 books.

NO CHURCH COUNCIL.
NO DISCUSSION.
NO AUTHORITY.

For any Protestant who lives their Bible this should give you great pause and make you go buy a new Bible.

The original Protestant Bibles had the 7 Catholic books, just in a different order. Then revivalism realized some books had no Masoretic text. Catholics dropped Enoch (canonical for Ethiopians) and Didache and Hermas (canonical in the early church)

Well very simple God has written his word in our hearts hearing the word is just a confirmation of what we know to be true.

Jerome the scholar who translated Hebrew a d Greek into Latin agreed with the 66 books. The jewish bible includes only the books which are on the Protestant bible.

I think we went wrong by not following Yahusha.

Matith'yahu 23:8 - But be not ye called Rabbi (teacher): for one is your Master, even the Mashiach; and all ye are brethren.

also catholic church and churches in genral use title they shouldn't.

Mat 23:9 - And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Old English papa, via ecclesiastical Latin from ecclesiastical Greek papas ‘bishop, patriarch’, variant of Greek pappas ‘father’.

The canon of Scripture that the Protestants have now is not the Jewish canon, but of Luther's canon. The Protestants have been duped.

To tell your sins to a man is non biblical. To be forbid from a wife of you are a clergy man is unbiblical. There are too many important ideas in Catholicism that are not scripture. This is why people leave your churches. The fact these bishops are filthy rich. Troubling
