Catholicism VS Christianity

Is there a difference between Catholics and Christians? Is the Word of God the only book that is infallible? In this video, I discuss the many differences between Catholicism and Christianity and why there is only one way you can be saved: by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

1st Peter chapter 2, verse 9 says, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." Jesus is our only Great High Priest; by Him alone, we can get to the Father.

I was born into the Catholic faith. Was baptized little. When I became of age I began to understand in depth what Catholicism means. I'm holy Spirit filled, I'm still a Christ believer. I love Catholicism. I will be Catholic till I die, by God's Grace ❤

Only if there was no division. All united singing, praising God. How beautiful that would be.

I was raised a Roman Catholic most of my life. However, at a young age the Holy Spirit opened my eyes when I saw all the statues and the first commandment came to mind. It was Good Friday and people were bowing down to a 12 ft statue and kissing it's feet. I was so convicted that I could not do it. I absolutely refused. My aunt cried all the way home because I would be going to "hell". Twenty years later my dad became born again, started a prayer group which became a church and was the pastor for 26 years. He was my pastor, my friend, and my confidante. He passes away three years ago from cancer. I miss him so much but I know one day we will see each other again. Praise God!

You can’t elevate the pope, Mary, Joseph, saints, and call yourself a Christian. God is the only one who should be worshipped.

I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church. At the age of 43 years, the Lord, open my eyes to the truth of the Scriptures. I repented of my sin, and trusted Christ to be my savior. I have been walking with Christ for the last 40 years and it’s a most wonderful thing that could ever happen to you. I am assured that when this life is over, I will step into eternity with my Savior Jesus Christ.

My daughter goes to Christian school, and we attend a Christian church, but my husband grew up Catholic and refused for a very long time to go to a Christian church. I have been praying for my husband to come to church with us and accept Jesus. Well, it's been 3 weeks now, thats hes been going to our christian church and loves it. My husband says that listening to me give our daughter lessons from the Bible and raising her in christinaity, it sparked his interest since he never really understood the stories in the bible and no one ever explained it to him. I know God heard my prayers. He touched my husbands heart and sparked that interest. 🙏

The best advice I can give anyone its how i found out the truth. Open the bible and read it from start to finish. If you want to go to church on Saturday or Sunday fine. Once you are familiar with the word of God you will be able to discern if what the pastor is saying is truth or of they are just misleading people.

I was born into a Roman Catholic family and feel quite insulted to think Vlad considers us not Christian!! I could not care less about the politics of all churches. I read the bible and believe in the holy trinity. I respect and love the Virgin Mary and all the saints. We do not worship the statues. The statues are no different to photos we don’t worship them they just remind us of the times of Christ etc.. I’m sick to death of all this segregation!!
Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Church of England whatever we are all Christians full stop. I have been to all these churches, we are all followers of Christ Amen.

Thank you so much for covering this. I was raised Catholic and most of my family is Catholic. Last year, I left the Catholicism and became a born again Christian. It took me nearly dying twice and actually reading the Bible and then comparing it to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (and a LOT of guidance from the Holy Spirit) to make the conversion. I am grateful for your boldness and love of the body of Christ.

I am a Catholic and just like others in this comment section, it saddens me to know that we are not considered as Christians by my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I cannot judge for only God knows our hearts. But to whoever is close to the spirit of Christ, you are a Christian 😊. Blessings on every believer.

I am Catholic and I know that Jesus said, whoever is not against us is for us. That is how I experience protestants and that is why I pay you a subscription.
I am against divisions, especially today when more than ever we need to be united.
The Holy Spirit unites, not divides.
He who has ears, let him hear.
God's blessing!

I am a life-long Catholic. I love it and I can't imagine ever being anything else. It gives me so much joy and comfort.
I read my Holy Bible for 30 minutes every day and spend another 30 minutes in prayer . So fulfilling for my spirit.

This was very enlightening because it’s a question I’ve pondered for years. I grew up Catholic and my mother is hardcore catholic, attending daily mass and sometimes going to confession twice a day, but I have adopted the Christian teachings of the Bible. I think you did a great job illustrating that Catholicism adds extra steps to be saved, whereas the Bible does not have these steps. I also value the personal relationship with God vs feeling like I had to go through a intermediary /priest to confess my sins.

As a Catholic. June 28, 2018 I was struck by a car while on my bike... And 3 months later I had died and came face to face with God. Just after being reboring again. I was sent back. And all hell broke lose. It was then I started watching the bible on my TV over and over again to try to figure out what's happening with my life. It was then I had stumbled across the answer all people need to know.... And it's this. When you watch the movie on his death. And watching his mother and siblings started to cry watching him suffer on the cross. It was then I started to cry. Lungs and heart felt like they were drowning in water. And then COVID set in. So the answer to all believers is believe God is real and what Jesus said was true. Spiritually connect with Jesus by shedding a tear and show some passion for what he has done for us... Jesus thank you for wageering our dept. I will try harder to be more like what your father wanted. In Jesus name I pray amen
