Learning to program takes a minimum amount of time you need to be aware of. You'll need to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript + how to consume a REST API and of course a framework or library like Angular, React or Vue. In this video, you'll learn to evaluate how long it takes to learn enough to land your first programming job and how to organize to avoid wasting time in order to learn to code as fast as possible.

Personally he is right. It takes time and this is my sixth month learning and learning html, css and bootstrap in a intermediate level took me like 2 months. Javascript another two months and projects another month. I built my portfolio and currently learning react and hopefully next month ready to apply. Be constant.

This is an older video of yours but the lessons you shared went beyond just programming. Decision-making is a very real skill that is sadly often overlooked and can lead to procrastination. There is no best framework or anything like that. The lesson is to start. Powerful insights as always.

Thanks for your wise words, I was looking for a numerical estimate value and you gave it 1000 hours. I know this is all relative but its good to have some sort of guide. No fluff straight to the point 🙌.

Learnt the 3 pillar stones html, css & js, test suites in mocha and js asynchronisity in 3 months, whilst working full time. Currently on REST and apis and then going to learn react.

The methodologies you described is what I’m implementing now: good sleep and consistency.

I’d recommend exercise to people as well, gets the feel good chemicals cycling.

Good luck all, we’ve got this easy.

I worked 3 months on HTML and CSS now I am working for a month on JavaScript. When I am building a website from Fronted Mentor I get stuck most of the time.

The way Ive started learning is to check job descriptions for my desired job and start with the most common skills that employers look for. Is this a good method?

Took me 6 months and i still cant learn JavaScript made a few projects on react and tailwind but when it came to api integration and fetch i quit because that was too much to handle the amount of JavaScript knowledge required is too much i cant even understand in copy/paste

I tried...I just can't learn this through a YouTube and it sucks cause of my hobby in RedM. I really want to dom my own server because no servers around with my story ideas or open to it. That and most good servers try and go ALL role play interactions for stores and saloons and such, and with time zones and server queues...store owner/clerks and shit can't always get in

so you will be hireable in like 3-4 months? i mean if you are absolute ZERO & you start learning html css js & practice a ton for 3 months you'll get a job?
