Interesting fact, I switched to Coke Zero, maintained the exact same diet and gained 5kg! My GP said the pancreas doesn’t know whether it’s real or fake sugar and releases insulin anyway, because it wasn’t needed as the sugar was fake it’s created some kind insulin resistance and a metabolic issue…

I switched back to regular coke and lost all the weight within a month

i hate trump just like any other sane person, but everytime i drink a diet soda i’m reminded of that tweet he made saying “i’ve never seen a thin person drinking diet coke” and then the follow up tweet “the coke company is not happy with me - but i’ll still keep drinking that garbage” 😭🤣

A lot of diet sodas contain stuff that make you crave sugar more then normal soda dose, it’s crazy how this makes people drink more of the diet soda which is still not very healthy.
