F87 M2 is definitely one of the best cars ever made.

Coming from a tuned M140i which I owned for 4 years, I bought an OG M2 late last year.
It's a bit slower in a straight line, it's noisy, the ride is crashy over bumps, the DCT is jerky at low speeds, but .... on an open twisty undulating country road, wow, it really comes alive and it all makes sense.
I love it.

I have the 18' lci M2.. upgraded intercooler, catted downpipe, charge pipe, turbo inlet, spark plugs - stage 2 tune and this thing is a monster on the street and in the canyons. This m car is hands down the best bang for your buck. Wanted a new m3 but went this route first, the other day went neck and neck with a brand new m3 from light to light, he was shocked! Great car!

I've owned my Long Beach Blue OG for nearly 5 years now, absolutely love the car and its definitely a keeper. M performance carbon exterior, M per Exhaust System, just had the steering wheel retrimmed in alcantara by Royal steering wheels with m perf carbon steering wheel trim also purchased. My brother in law just purchased an LBB M2 comp. Next time your up in Scotland give us a shout on the Fb owners page. Great channel keep up the good work.

Have an OG LCI and I absolutely love it. The combo of a VRSF sports cat and Mperf exhaust is the most addicting sound, and with the valves open is absolutely insane. I adore my car to bits. Lots of other extras, and IMO the best colour mineral grey, because everyone has a long beach blue one haha.

I think this applies to your country only, in the rest of Europe good examples are still expensive, ~40/50K, especially manual ones, honestly I’d rather spend more to get an “exotic” with a little bit of years on the shoulders, but that’s probably my case and opinion. I still agree with you tho, for 25K to low ~30K I would absolutely buy one of this.

I just got my 2018 manual in LBB for $38, 000 with 47k miles. It was super hard to find a one owner, LBB, clean title, manual in US. Happy I found it, future classic for sure! The sound is addicting

Im on my second F87 M2, and I currently have a competition model, i bought one sight unseen but it was near new and ive loved it but there is something to be said about the OG i had prior. The OG is a tremendous value, and that engine note is something special. The s55 can not compete with it, even with a 5k+ exhuast, it doesn't sound as good. Honestly, i think if i keep this M2 long-term, i may have to go single turbo, for sound alone. Or i could buy a really high mileage OG once i get close to paying this one off? So to any buyers out there keep thst in mind the OG is such a good value and gives you most of what the Competition offers, i assumed the competition was better in a massive way and it isnt, i think overall it is the "better" M2 juet based on what you get the tuning potential for the s55 is insane but the N55 is no slouch.

Errrrm just to say I sold my OG LBB Manaual M2 with MPE system HK, Full BMWSH, Carbon exterior pack, and interior carbon parts as well inside 85k on the clock but did have 7 owners But it went for £19k in the end. Sooo yeah they are definitely going for cheaper than 22k right now.

Also people don’t realise how rare the manual M2 is in the uk, 664 only in OG, 428 in comp, and 37 CS. Compare that to 1Ms…and they very similar numbers.

I'm not a fan of LBB, it is a nice colour but it's the sort of colour you an only see so often before getting tired of it. I live in an area that has many M2s and the LBB hype dies down quickly. I ordered my Comp new (with it's vast list of about 4 options) myself and have owned it almost exactly 5 years now (20th May 2019) and 99k Km. I ordered it Hockenheim silver with the M437 wheels that are now used for winter tyres and I have added a set of 763M that I had painted Bronze for the summer. (I don't like the 788M bicycle wheels)
I have thought about selling and getting an Emira or a Cayman GTS4.0 quite a few times but I can't bare the idea of selling the M2, I've got 3 cars at the moment, but the M2 is just my baby.

You forgot to mention how easy it is to get it sideways :)

Dude, a 70k mile example in the US sells for about 35k-40k… with rent being over 2k a month, I can afford it but I’d be scraping by 🙄🙄

I can tell you that in the US, You will not get one with low mileage for £25k ($32k). More like $40k. And a high mileage OG M2 with 80k plus miles, probably $30k.
You might only get into the High 20s, If you get one with over 100, 000 mi, or a salvage title
