The dealership manager looking from the inside at our host making a video and thinking "Great, he's advertising our cars!" :)

If you buy a used BMW you can go to independent mechanic for 50% cost of the dealer.

Like Scotty said: " The best BMW is the one your neighbor owns."

Best BMW to owed is a 3 years old one. Buy the extended warranty til 6 years and start listing it for sale at the end of the 5th year.

I had a 2005 BMW 335CI and I bought it used in 2006 and kept it until early 2016. Never any problems. It was a daily driver, but had only maybe 50K miles on it by 2016. I only did regular service maintenance on it. Car looked almost brand new still in 2016. It had the 6cyl inline engine and auto transmission. I kind of regret now trading it in. I did not trade it in for another BMW, they were just too expensive by 2016. I thought it was the best looking of any of the 3 series 2 door coups they ever made. Great video. Enjoy them very much. CHEERS.

Well, there goes my thought of buying a BMW for the first time! It's not like I haven't heard it before, but it's nice to be reminded just as I'm researching cars! The car reviews all describe looks, comfort, and driving pleasure. Never anything about reliability and cost to repair!

Basically lease and dump or stick to analog, manual, naturally aspirated, inline 6s. It's was called the golden era for a reason.

10 minutes into this video, I remembered a quote from a police officer saying stolen BMW's are worth 10 times more in parts. Boy, does that ring true! Thanks for a great vid.

Hats off to you for telling people about these cars when you sell them in your show room.

We have at least 9 BMW rides between Asia and In the US. Never had any major issues beside recalls and 4 of our Diesels are running like a dream even after 110+k miles...Love them all!

I think the whole way of thinking has to change, Basically once about every 10 years or 100K miles, all modern BMWs require a major overhaul like an aircraft. All the gaskets, seals, water pump, and many other parts should be replaced/upgraded all in one go. BMW will never tell you to do that as they want the car junked.

Unfortunately unlike aircraft used prices do not properly reflect what work has been done.

Attempting to only fix the problem at hand at the time is not the way to go as everything is engineered to fail at about the same time.

I got my 2013 3 Series F30 328i for $14k used and I can gladly say that I got lucky with it but not all BMW’s are exactly horrible. He is right when he says that they will be expensive but hey, if you really want it then you’ll be willing to keep up with the maintenance! Love the video, you got my support.
